Quick Facts

The District of Mission has several advantages when it comes to providing business a skilled and educated labour force.  Over the past few year Mission has become one of the fastest growing communities in British Columbia.  However, with this growth Mission has not achieved a balance between residential growth and employment growth.  In fact, more then 65% of Mission local labour force commutes to other municipalities.  This is an advantage to local businesses, as they have less difficulty hiring locally.
