Grand Street

 The District of Mission is undertaking improvements to Grand Street infrastructure that include the following:

- Storm sewer upgrades between 11th and lane north of 12th Ave

- New asphalt surfacing between 1st Ave and 14th Ave

- Gravel sidewalk on east side of Grand Street between 11th Ave and 14th Ave

- Improvements to curbs, sidewalks, manholes, valves etc as required

 The work is scheduled to commence in late March and finish in late summer. Road closures will be required at different times during the project and will be conveyed to the public via newspaper ads, District website and on-site signage. The first closure will be from March 27th to April 20.  Local traffic will be permitted during all closures. Interruptions to water and sanitary sewer services are not anticipated. Interim patch paving will be done in the short term until the entire section of road is ready to be repaved in late summer. We recognize the work will be an inconvenience for residents and appreciate your patience, cooperation and respect for District work crews.
