Fraser River Heritage Park is Mission’s largest park, rich in history, natural beauty and with numerous amenities, the ideal location for gatherings of all sizes. The scenic views and the leisurely walking trails connect the Hatzic and Heritage Park areas of Mission.

A great line up of events takes place in the park each year.

Fraser River Heritage Park is located off 5th Ave, east of Stave Lake Street in Mission British Columbia. This fantastic park is home to a picnic shelter, gazebo, walking trails, rose garden, restaurant and some of the best views anywhere in the region. It is the site for numerous special events and a favourite of residents and visitors alike.

Fraser River Heritage Park

Fraser River Heritage Park is located of 5th Ave, east of Stave Lake Street in Mission British Columbia. It is 44 acres in size and houses a picnic shelter, gazebo, walking trails, rose garden, restaurant and more. It is the site for numerous special events and a local favourite of residents.

If you are considering an event in Fraser River Heritage Park or any of the other parks within the District of Mission parks system, contact the Department for booking details at bookings@mission.ca or call 604-820-5368.

Guidelines

Fraser River Heritage Park is open for you to enjoy:

May 1 – September 30 – Dawn until Dusk
October 1 – April 30 – 7:00 am – 9:00 pm

The park office, located south of the parking lot, is open limited hours – May – September. Hours will be posted on the office door.

To help protect you and the park:

  • Beware of wildlife
  • Wear proper footwear and clothing
  • Do not climb on trees, railings, fences or structures
  • Keep dogs leashed and pick up droppings
  • Use the waste receptacles provided to keep the park clean and litter free
  • Motorized vehicles are not permitted in the park
  • Smoking is prohibited (Bylaw 5143-2010)

Blackberry Kitchen

Chef Kerry and Laurel Martin invite you to stop in and enjoy a meal at the Blackberry Kitchen. Its unique setting on the park grounds provides spectacular views. A fabulous menu with breakfast, custom-made sandwiches at lunch and an awe-inspiring evening menu that includes west coast small plates, great meal features and in-house dessert creations.
