In partnership with the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association the Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is proud to host a High Five Training Workshop for front line leaders and those working with children ages 6 -12 in a sport and recreation environment. This Tuesday from 6-8pm, special $10 family admission gives you and your family access to the pool, rink and a new bonus special activity session in the gym led by our Family Play Leader. Bouncy castle, sports, crafts, game and a toddler tumble zone are some of the fun things to look forward to! Come by early for dinner – Red’s Grill is offering food specials for families looking for a full night out!

Nominations for the Mission Sports Hall of Fame are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed annually in the Fall for the upcoming year. The Hall of Fame, located in the Mission Leisure Centre, honours athletes, coaches and officials from the District of Mission for their outstanding contribution or achievement in sport.
Nomination forms and criteria for consideration are available on the website leisure page under “Sports Hall of Fame”.
Do you have a special talent or skill you want to share with the community? The District of Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is looking for Contract Program Instructors on an ongoing basis. The possibilities are endless! From jewelry design to cricket, soccer to photography we’re looking for instructors with specialized skills that allow us to share their talents with the community through our recreation programs.
