Sept 29-Oct 25 marks the 3rd annual Mission Strong Challenge! Youth in Mission sign up for the challenge, train either on their own or through specialized youth challenge oriented fitness classes and on Oct 25th they test themselves through a tough mudder style obstacle course. Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture hosts a weekly family art drop-in on Saturdays from 10-11am. Only $2 per child and geared towards children age 2 – 8, click here for more information.
On Tues Oct 7th from 6:30-8pm, regular admission gives you access to the pool, rink and a new bonus special themed activity session in the gym led by our Family Play Leader. Bouncy castle, sports, crafts, game and a toddler tumble zone are some of the fun things to look forward to. This week’s theme, Circus! Circus!
After a successful maintenance session, our facility is in full operation. Come in for a dip in our nice clean pool or join a fitness class on our newly refinished studio floor.
The Skate Park located on the north side of the Leisure Centre parking lot is open daily and will now close at 10pm.

The District of Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is looking for Contract Program Instructors on an ongoing basis. The possibilities are endless! From jewelry design to cricket, soccer to photography we’re looking for instructors with specialized skills that allow us to share their talents with the community through our recreation programs.
