The first executive for the Mission Sports Council has been formed and includes the following individuals:

Sports Council meetings are held at the Mission Leisure Centre on the first Tuesday of the month, 7pm with the exception of the April 2015 meeting which will be held on Tuesday April 14. For more information on the Sports Council see the Mission Record article here.
In partnership with the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association the Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is proud to host a High Five Training Workshop for front line leaders and those working with children ages 6 -12 in a sport and recreation environment. From jewelry design to cricket, soccer to photography we’re looking for instructors with specialized skills that allow us to share their talents with the community through our recreation programs.
