Tuesday is Family Night at the Mission Leisure Centre

On Tues Oct 21st from 6:30-8pm, regular admission gives you access to the pool, rink and a new bonus special themed activity session in the gym led by our Family Play Leader.  Bouncy castle, sports, crafts, game and a toddler tumble zone are some of the fun things to look forward to. This week’s theme, Diwali Festival of Lights!

Fun N’ Run

Every Tuesday from 11am-1pm is free family fun in the gymnasium. This  drop-in program is geared towards children under 6 years and their parents/caregivers. Please click here fore more information.

Creative Corner – Family Art Drop-in, Saturdays

Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture hosts a weekly family art drop-in on Saturdays from 10-11am. Only $2 per child and geared towards children age 2 – 8, click here for more information.

Skateboard Park - Notice

The Skate Park located on the north side of the Leisure Centre parking lot is open daily and will now close at 10pm.

Low and No Cost Sessions & Events

The Mission Leisure Centre offers a variety of low or no cost sessions and events throughout the year.  Click here for the latest schedule.

Upcoming free & low cost events include:

  • Fri Oct. 24, Pro-D Day Swim 10am-3pm & Skate 1-2:30pm.
  • Fri Oct 31, Free Preschool Halloween Event, 10am-1pm.

The District of Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is looking for Contract Program Instructors on an ongoing basis. The possibilities are endless! From jewelry design to cricket, soccer to photography we’re looking for instructors with specialized skills that allow us to share their talents with the community through our recreation programs.
