Send a Kid to Camp

High Five Training  Workshop –  Saturday May 30

In partnership with the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association the Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is proud to host a High Five Training Workshop for front line leaders and those working with children ages 6 -12 in a sport and recreation environment. Schedule Changes & Program Updates

Swim Meet – Saturday May 23 & 24

  • Pool and Racquet Courts, MP#3 & #4A/B are blocked off and not available for the public.
  • Fitness room, gym (MP#1) and studio available
  • Please note limited parking in the parking lot

Program updates

  • NEW! Friday May 29 Low Impact Fitness Class on  will run 8:30 am – 9:30 am.
  • Cross Train Mondays 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm cancelled
  • NEW! Zumba Mondays 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm

Skateboard Park

The Skate Park located on the north side of the Leisure Centre parking lot is open daily and will now close at 10pm.

Contract Program Instructors

Do you have a special talent or skill you want to share with the community? The District of Mission Parks, Recreation and Culture department is looking for Contract Program Instructors on an ongoing basis. The possibilities are endless! From jewelry design to cricket, soccer to photography we’re looking for instructors with specialized skills that allow us to share their talents with the community through our recreation programs.
