Spring Cleanup – May 1-12
This year’s spring cleanup will span two weeks, from May 1 to 12. Single-family residents can put out an additional two cubic metres of waste on their regular garbage collection day. One cubic metre is equivalent of six bags of waste, or one stove, or one armchair. Anything beyond the limit of two cubic metres will be left behind.
All materials must be manageable by two people. Please do not pile materials loosely and promptly clean up any leftover debris.
Household Hazardous Waste Day – May 13
Household Hazardous Waste Day will immediately follow spring cleanup on Saturday, May 13. Mission residential taxpayers and Fraser Valley Regional District Electoral Areas C, F & G (proof required) may drop off household hazardous waste at the Mission Recycling Depot free of charge from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. No commercial or agricultural products will be accepted.
The Mission Recycling Depot is located at 7229 Mershon Street, across from the West Coast Express parking lot.
