Emergency Support Services

Oct. 19, 2020 Fire at Horne/12th Avenue

For anyone requiring assistance as a result of the apartment fire (including access to the building, and support services), please call 604-814-1296, and we will do our best to assist you.

This will be an ongoing, evolving situation and as we learn more or have information/assistance, details will posted here, Mission Fire Rescue’s Facebook page and Instagram channel.

Important: For those who have insurance, please contact your provider immediately, as they are better able to assist you than ESS.

Building Access

All access to the apartment building on 12th Avenue has now ended.

As stated earlier today, responsibility of the building has been transferred from Mission Fire Rescue Service to the restoration company. They will be working to make the building safer for residents, and ensuring suite security.

Residents will again be able to access their suites and retrieve more belongings on Friday, Oct. 23 starting at 9 a.m. On that day, a clerk of the works will be stationed at the building’s front door. To gain entry, you will be asked to show identification. If your ID is in your suite, you will be escorted in to find it.

Please remember that as of now, the primary contact will be via richardscourt@barclayrestorations.ca, or by calling 604-455-2284.

Mission Emergency Support Services will still be available to answer questions and the phone line will be manned. Please call 604-814-1296 to speak to ESS.
