Bob Ingram’s long and impactful history of volunteerism will be acknowledged during Regular Council on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Bob Ingram is a lifelong volunteer whose dedication, hard work and leadership has positively impacted the lives of countless Mission residents. He has served as President of the Mission Seniors Centre Association, President of the Mission Association for Community Living, President of Mission Community Services Society, and Chair of Mission Community Foundation. He has also been involved with numerous other organizations, including Mission Community Policing, Mission Restorative Resolutions, and the BC Seniors Advocate Council of Advisors.
Bob has been an exemplary role model and a tremendous asset to the community. It is, therefore, with great sadness and a profound sense of gratitude that we bid him adieu as he and his lovely wife Gayle prepare to leave Mission to embark on their next adventure.
Council will be officially presenting him with the Freedom of the City Medal (highest award a municipality can bestow) at the April 2024 Community Service Awards Ceremony. In the meantime, there will be a brief presentation held at the start of the September 5th Regular Meeting of Council to acknowledge Bob’s leadership, diplomacy and volunteerism over the years. Please join us at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Municipal Hall, 8645 Stave Lake Street or by tuning in online at mission.ca/webcast.
