Completed Work

The City has completed Phase 1 and 2 of a 3-Phase improvement program for 14th Avenue from Hurd Street to Cade Barr Street. After successful completion of Phase 1 from Hurd Street to Tanager Street, in October of 2022, construction started on Phase 2 from Grand Street to Cade Barr Street in November 2023.

Work Included:

  • Watermain and drainage upgrades
  • Multi-use pathway (south side)
  • Improved sidewalk and connectors (north side)
  • Curb bulges, parking pockets and enhanced boulevard improvements
  • Pavement, road markings and intersection improvements at Caribou Street
  • Street lighting and buried conduit installation
