The City of Mission, in partnership with the Federal and Provincial Government via the Clean Wastewater Fund (CWWF), installed a new 900 mm Ø pipe, alongside the existing 600 mm Ø pipe to increase capacity and provide much needed redundancy. This project had a strict oversight including a team of environmental engineering consultants who helped monitor the Provincial and Federal governments best practices, ensuring the protection of fish, wildlife and the natural environment.
The project started in September 2021 and was substantially completed May 16, 2022. The warranty period ended May 16th, 2023.
