What’s Happening

On June 24th City staff released a Request for Proposal for the Construction of the Gaudin Creek Community Detention Pond. The project was to complete the construction of a new community detention facility and associated creek channel, downstream of the existing detention facility.

On August 15th council approved a budget increase and awarded the contract to MAREX Constructors Ltd. The Notice to Proceed has been issued, the contractor has submitted their documents and the Contract has been executed. After a pre-construction meeting in August, MAREX mobilized on to the site in September.
