Roads in Mission
Mission’s road network is made up of municipally and provincially maintained streets and highways. Our roads are an essential part of our community and help ensure people and goods can move around our city safely and efficiently.
Municipal Roadways
Maintenance and upgrades on most major and local roads are managed by the City. This includes snow removal, ice control, pothole repairs, line painting, traffic signals, sign repairs, and litter pick up. The City also operates the Pavement Management Program through its Capital Construction plan to ensure timely investments in new paving. New roads are added to our network through development as the City grows.
