Join our Recreation staff for this supervised group hike!
The Moon Rock at Bear Mountain is exactly as cool as it sounds. Not only is it a great hike up through a gorgeous Mission forest, but it leads up to a neat boulder at the top. This moderate to intermediate level hike is a 3.1 km out-and-back trail that has some sections with elevation, but plenty of plateaus. Weather permitting, there is a fabulous view at the rock.
After we appreciate the view and have a snack, we will loop back and connect to the Corduroy Trail making our return to the parking lot. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
