Council
On May 21st, 2024, Council adopted a text amendment to Zoning Bylaw 5949-2020 to allow for the keeping of urban hens.
The new Agriculture (Urban Hen Keeping) use has been added to the Zoning Bylaw, to allow for the keeping of egg-laying hens in a Backyard Hen Coop and Run as defined in the Staff Report to Council on March 18, 2024.
