We are looking for nominations for Cultural Resource Commission members for a two-year term starting January, 2019.
The Mission Cultural Resources Commission provides advice and recommendations to Council on progress towards the implementation of the Cultural Resources Management Plan and on other matters referred to the Commission by Council.
The Commission is the driving force behind Mission’s successful Culture Days, many public art initiatives, and the Celebration of the Arts Awards.
The Commission is seeking members with strong ties to the community with knowledge and experience deemed of value to Council and the Commission.
The Commission has a maximum of 12 voting members who are knowledgeable about the community and reflect broad artistic and cultural interests.
Membership is a volunteer appointment by Council.
