Community Celebration for Jenny Stevens (1936 ~ 2022)
Jenny Stevens was a long time Mission resident and community builder who served six terms on Council, from 1999 to 2018. She was smart, funny, fearless, and spirited and her guidance, leadership and dedication left an indelible mark on the people and the City of Mission. Read more about her.
Please join Jenny’s family, Mayor and Council, and members of the community at Fraser River Heritage Park on Saturday, May 6th from 1~3 p.m. for an open microphone and tree planting event. This is a time for us all to come together in celebration of a life well lived. Bring your favourite Jenny Stevens stories! Everyone is welcome.
Date: Saturday, May 6, 2023
Time: 1:00~3:00 p.m.
Location: Fraser River Heritage Park (under/near the covered picnic table area). In addition to the covered area, there will also be tents and a limited number of chairs set up. Please feel free to bring a comfy lawn chair if you wish.
