Guest Speaker: Gracie Kelly of Témexw Teachings
Hosted by Mark Haney, Manager of Arts and Culture
Join in the first of the City of Mission’s first semi-annual Creative Conversation! If you are a creator/artist of any kind in any genre, we’d love to have you be part of the conversation. These gatherings are meant to help create a stronger creative community, and provide council with a vision for the arts in Mission that supports and enhances all artistic practices and genres.
Gracie Kelly will talk about Celebrating Indigenous: 7 Caring Teachings, and how they relate to her cedar art.
Breakout groups will explore a possible 2040, and what a thriving centre dedicated to creative and cultural expression could look like.
