Mission, BC—As we get closer to the holiday season, the Mission Municipal Forest is issuing a friendly reminder that Christmas tree cutting is not permitted in the forest in a new video exploring the benefits of community forestry.

“Our community depends on healthy and productive forests that provide so many benefits to Mission and local First Nations communities,” said Chris Gruenwald, Director of Forestry. “There are many great local Christmas tree farms where you can get a high-quality tree and support local businesses.”

In the short video, a budding journalist conducts an interview to learn about the community and cultural benefits of Mission Municipal Forest, its size, and if there have been any confirmed unicorn sightings.
