Councillor Pam Alexis was first elected as school trustee in 2005, and was first elected to Council in November, 2014.


Pam Alexis completed both a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction and a Post Degree Professional Program with Honours at the University of Victoria. After meeting her husband at UVic they moved to Japan where she taught English for five years in Tsukuba City. Their first child was born in Japan, and their second was born in Dallas, Texas where they lived for a number of years. Pam moved to Mission in 1996 with her family and is a resident of Hatzic.

Pam is a noted community volunteer and has sat in various capacities on many community boards. She refers to herself as a community builder! Most recently she held the role of Vice President of the 2014 BC Winter Games. Pam was a school trustee for Mission Public Schools from 2005 to 2011. A proud Rotarian for over 13 years, she served as its president in 2010. In 2014 Pam was made Vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and was the chair of Tourism up until the municipal election. Pam also represented the Chamber as a member of the Stave West Recreation Master Plan team.

Personal vision: Pam believes that council must reflect the will of the community at all times.  As a result, community engagement is essential to provide direction for council. She is looking forward to working with the community in all sorts of projects in order to create a vibrant, healthy and safe community!
