File: R19-032 - 32502, 32524 and 32538 Cherry Avenue

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5979-2020-5949(6) (R19-032)

 

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject properties located at 32502, 32524 and 32538 Cherry Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Suburban 36 (S36) Zone to the Multi-unit Duplex 465 (MD465) Zone to allow for a subsequent subdivision into 22 lots, with a minimum 232 sq m (2,502 sq ft) lot size to facilitate the creation of 11 fee simple duplexes.

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDING BYLAW 5767-2018-5670(7) (OCP18-004)

 

The purpose of the proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) amending bylaw is to redesignate a portion of the subject property located at 33929 Barker Court (shown on the maps below) from Attached Multi-Unit Residential to Environmentally Sensitive Area to allow for the protection of environmentally sensitive areas.

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5995-2020-5949(14) (R18-029)

 

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone a portion of the subject property located at 33929 Barker Court (shown on the maps below) from the Suburban 36 (S36) and Rural Residential 7 (RR7) Zone to the Multi-unit Townhouse One (MT1) Zone to allow the development of 36 townhouse units.

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDING BYLAW 5967-2020-5670(26) (OCP20-004)

The purpose of the proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) amending bylaw is to redesignate the subject property located at 10415 Jacobsen Street (shown on the maps below) from Rural to Institutional to allow the subsequent rezoning for the development of a monastery, including a place of worship, dormitories, education facilities, and associated accessory uses.

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5985-2020-5949(9) (R20-010)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 10415 Jacobsen Street (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 80 Secondary Dwelling (RU80s) Zone to the Institutional Assembly (AI) Zone to allow the development of a monastery, including a place of worship, dormitories, education facilities, and associated accessory uses.

File: ZBT19-002 - Suburban Zones

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5999-2020-5949(17) (ZBT19-002)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to create two new zones with two corresponding secondary dwelling zones, Suburban 10 (S10), Suburban 10 Secondary Dwelling (S10s),  Suburban 20 (S20) and Suburban 20 Secondary Dwelling (S20s). The Bylaw will also remove Suburban 36 (S36) and Suburban 36 Secondary Dwelling (S36s) Zones from Zoning Bylaw 5949-2020.

The S10 and S10s zones would allow fully serviced lots as small as 0.1 ha (0.25 ac), and the S20 and S20s zones would allow 0.2 ha (0.50 ac) lots where water is the only municipal service available and 0.7 ha where no services are available.

Anyone who believes they are affected by a proposed bylaw shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard.

Due to public health orders, the Public Hearing will be conducted virtually and live-streamed on the District’s website. The public may participate in the meeting via Zoom Webinar (visit mission.ca/public hearings for details and instructions), or provide comments to Council in writing.

All written comments should include the writer’s name and address, which will become part of the public record.  All written submissions must be received by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021.
