OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDING BYLAW 5935-2020-5670(17) – File: OCP19-008

The purpose of the Bylaw is to redesignate the subject properties located at 31215 & 31380 Silverdale Avenue (shown on the maps below) from Commercial to Commercial and Parks and Open Space to allow for a bare land strata commercial development.

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6054-2021-5949(43) – File: R18-058

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject properties located at 7646 Nelson Street, 31215 & 31380 Silverdale Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 16 (RU16) Zone and Commercial Highway Two (CH2) Zone to the Commercial Vehicle Dealership (CVD) Zone, Commercial Gas Service Station (CGS) Zone & Institutional Parks, Recreation and Civic (IPRC) Zone to allow a subsequent subdivision into four bare land strata lots for commercial developments and one fee simple lot for additional parkland adjacent to Silverdale Creek Wetland.

32768 & 32778 Egglestone Avenue

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6050-2021-5949(41) – File: R20-027

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject properties located at 32768 & 32778 Egglestone Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Suburban 20 (S20) Zone to the Multi-unit Duplex 465 (MD465) Zone to facilitate a subsequent subdivision into 20 fee simple duplex lots, allowing for 10 duplexes (totalling 20 dwelling units), with a minimum lot size of 232 sq m (2,502 sq ft) lot size.

10911 Wilson Street

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6053-2021-5949(42) – File: R20-020

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 10911 Wilson Street (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 80 (RU80) Zone to the Rural Residential 7 Secondary Dwelling (RR7s) Zone to facilitate a subsequent 5-lot subdivision with lots a minimum 0.70 ha (1.73 ac) lot size with a secondary dwelling unit permitted on each lot.

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6055-2021-5949(44) – File: R19-041

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 32335 Fletcher Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Commercial Highway Two (CH2) Zone; Urban Residential 558 (R558) Zone; Neighbourhood Centre One (NC1) Zone; Urban Residential 558 Secondary Dwelling (R558s) Zone to the Commercial Highway One (CH1) Zone to allow a 4-storey mixed-use building with seven commercial units and daycare on the ground floor and 105 apartment units above.

32579 Cherry Avenue
ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6057-2021-5949(45) – File: R19-028

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 32579 Cherry Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Suburban 20 (S20) Zone to the Urban Compact 465 Secondary Dwelling (UC465s) Zone to facilitate a future subdivision that would allow lots a minimum 465 sq m (5,005 sq ft) lot size, with a secondary dwelling unit permitted on each lot.

34181 Hartman Avenue

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6058-2021-5949(46) – File: R21-001

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 34181 Hartman Avenue (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 16 (RU16) Zone to the Rural Residential 7 Secondary Dwelling (RR7s) Zone to allow a 4-lot bare land strata subdivision, a minimum 0.60 ha (1.48 ac) lot size, and a secondary dwelling unit permitted on each lot.

Further Information:
Anyone who believes they are affected by a proposed bylaw shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. Due to public health orders, the Public Hearing will be conducted virtually and live-streamed on the District’s website. The public may participate in the meeting via Zoom Webinar (visit mission.ca/public-hearings for details and instructions), or provide comments to Council in writing. All written comments should include the writer’s name and address, which will become part of the public record.  All written submissions must be received by 4:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021.
