Notice of Waived Public Hearing

PROJECT FILE: P2019-117 – REZONING APPLICATION NO. R19-038 

SUBJECT PROPERTY:  31173 Dewdney Trunk Road

NOTICE IS GIVEN under s. 467 of the Local Government Act that Council has waived the holding of a public hearing respecting the following proposed bylaw and considers the proposed bylaw to be consistent with the “District of Mission Official Community Plan Bylaw 5670-2017” as per the conditions established by Section 464(2) of the Local Government Act.

The District of Mission is providing notice of its intent to consider third reading of the following proposed bylaw at its regular Council meeting to be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in the Council Chambers located at 8645 Stave Lake Street, Mission, BC:

DISTRICT OF MISSION ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5930-2020-5050(378) (R19-038)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 31173 Dewdney Trunk Road  (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 16 Secondary Dwelling (RU16s) Zone to the Rural Residential 7 Secondary Dwelling (RR7s) Zone to allow for a subsequent subdivision into three (3) lots a minimum 0.7 hectare (1.73 acre) lot size with secondary dwelling units permitted on each lot.
