NOTICE IS GIVEN under Section 467 of the Local Government Act that Council has waived the holding of public hearing respecting the following proposed bylaws and considers the proposed bylaws to be consistent with the “District of Mission Official Community Plan Bylaw 5670-2017” as per the conditions established by Section 464(2) of the Local Government Act.

The District of Mission is providing notice of its intent to consider third reading of the following proposed bylaws (below) at its regular Council meeting to be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Council Chambers located at 8645 Stave Lake Street, Mission, BC.

File: R20-004 - 7330 Horne Street

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5987-2020-5949(11) – (File: R20-004)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 7330 Horne Street  (shown on the maps below) from the Mission City Downtown One (DT1) Zone to the Mission City Downtown Two (DT2) Zone to accommodate the construction of a six-storey apartment building containing 40 dwelling units.

File: R18-033 - Unaddressed Lot D (PID: 011-947-462) Dewdney Trunk Road

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5989-2020-5949(12) – (File: R18-033)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the property located at unaddressed Lot D (PID: 011-947-462) Dewdney Trunk Road  (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 16 (RU16) Zone to the Comprehensive Development 50 (CD50) Zone to allow a subsequent bare land strata subdivision into a maximum of 9 strata lots a minimum 0.20 ha (0.49 ac) lot size with one secondary dwelling unit permitted on each lot.

File: R20-015 - 30373 Dewdney Trunk Road

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5991-2020-5949(13) – (File: R20-015)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone a portion of the property located at 30373 Dewdney Trunk Road  (shown on the maps below) from the Rural 16 (RU16) Zone to the Rural Residential 7 Secondary Dwelling (RR7s) Zone to allow a 3-lot subdivision, with 2 lots having a minimum lot size of 0.70 ha (1.73 ac) zoned to RR7s to allow a secondary dwelling unit on each, and 1 remainder lot to remain as RU16.

ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 5996-2020-5949(15) – (File: R20-007)

The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject properties located at 33228 and 33232 2nd Avenue, 33229 Oak Lane and unnamed laneway (shown on the maps below) from the Mission City Downtown One (DT1) Zone to the Mission City Downtown Two (DT2) Zone to accommodate the construction of a 11-storey mixed-use building with two levels of partially underground parking, ground level commercial, and the above 10 levels consisting of 92 residential units.
