NOTICE IS GIVEN under Section 467 of the Local Government Act that Council has waived the holding of public hearing respecting the following proposed bylaws and considers the proposed bylaws to be consistent with the “District of Mission Official Community Plan Bylaw 5670-2017” as per the conditions established by Section 464(2) of the Local Government Act.

Bylaws to be considered:
1. ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6214-2023-5949(131)
The purpose of the Bylaw is to amend the Agricultural Zones A80, A36 and A16 within Zoning Bylaw 5949-2020 to match the current regulations set by the Provincial Agricultural Land Commission (ALC).
The proposed amendments aim to allow for additional types of secondary dwelling units in the Agricultural Zones, specifically manufactured homes, coach houses or garden cottages. Additionally, Section 106 H, which deals with Secondary Dwelling Units, will be updated to include agricultural secondary dwelling units and set a maximum size of 90 sq m (967 sq ft) in accordance with the ALC regulations.

2. ZONING AMENDING BYLAW 6217-2023-5949(133)
The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone the subject property located at 8153 Manson Street (shown on the maps below) from the Urban Residential 930 (R930) Zone to the Urban Residential 930 Secondary Dwelling (R930s) Zone to allow a secondary dwelling unit.
