Discarding or dumping waste deliberately on public or private property is considered illegal dumping. Illegal dumping causes harm to the environment, costs taxpayers and negatively effects the overall impression of our community. City of Mission residents and businesses are responsible for properly disposing of their waste.
If you witness illegal dumping and would like to make a report, complete with evidence such as a license plate number, video or photo, please email bylaws@mission.ca
To report an illegal dump site, please call Public Works at 604-820-3761 with location details.
Please do not approach dumped materials. If you believe the material poses an immediate risk to the public or the environment, please call 9-1-1.
