Request a Free Smoke Alarm

Most fire-related deaths and injuries occur in people’s homes. Having a working smoke alarm is one of the best ways to keep yourself and your family safe from fire, and fire injuries and deaths.

Mission Fire Rescue Service has free smoke alarms available for community members living in a:

  • Detached home
  • Mobile home

Residents living in multi-family units are encouraged to reach out to their strata managers to discuss smoke alarms.

This program is made possible by the BC Office of the Fire Commissioner.
