Remembrance Day in Mission

Remember those who have served and fallen in service of Canada. Join us on November 11 for Mission’s Remembrance Day Ceremony, organized by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 57.

10:00 AM – the parade will form up at the Ecole des Deaux Rives on Stave Lake Street.

10:15 – Parade marches off.

10:40 – Service of Remembrance begins in the Clarke Theatre with Last Post, silence, reveille.

Following the service, wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Legion Branch #57 – 32627 Logan Avenue, Mission. Everyone is invited to the Branch for a social gathering in the lounge after the ceremonies.


Veteran’s Week

Council has proclaimed November 5 to 11 as Veterans Week.

We are grateful to those who served Canada and for the sacrifices they made to keep our country a safe place for future generations.
