Councillor Angel Elias

Acting Mayor: April/October

Councillor Angel Elias has served on Council since 2022.

In her professional life, Elias is currently the Executive Director of the Mission Hospice Society and has been leading the organization to success in end of life compassionate care within Mission and the region since 2013.

She is a proud member of the Mission Mid-day Rotary Club, serving as President in 2016 as well as club Secretary for many years. She has been instrumental in community projects such as the St. Joseph’s Food Bank building, the Mission Youth (MY) House building, Mission Sports Park scoreboard, Blessings in a Backpack food program, Candle Light Parade, Rotary Carol Festival and many other community events.

Angel was a past president of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and continues to support her community in many ways.

Her hobbies include spending time with her family, camping, fishing and making sure to support her children’s needs and ambitions. Both of her children have graduated high school and Angel is proud of the people they are becoming.
