Project Overview

The City of Mission is developing a new 1.54 hectare (3.8 acres) neighborhood spray park at the corner of Emiry Street and Brunton Court.

The new park will include:

  • A recirculating spray park providing the public with a perfect way to cool off during the hot summer months.
  • A parking area, washrooms, and a changeroom building. 
  • A playground and other supporting park amenities.
  • Outdoor sports court.

Funding

The project is funded through the British Columbia Growing Communities Fund and the Forestry Legacy Reserve.

Updates

Fall 2025 – the design services contract has been awarded to LEES & Associates. Project kick off meeting completed.

October 2025 – developed concept plans will be available for public feedback.

Early 2026 – awarding of construction contracts completion.

Spring/summer 2026 – target completion/opening date.
