Canada Day
Mission’s annual Canada Day event at Fraser River Heritage Park is a celebration of the community coming together with free activities and entertainment. Highlights include opening ceremony, kids’ zone, youth zone, community zone, police, fire, loggers’ sports and much more.

Centennial Park
An oasis of peace in the middle of Mission with trails, streams, bridges, and more! As a community hub, Centennial features picnic areas, off-leash dog park, 9-hole disc golf course, lacrosse and tennis courts, kids play area, adult outdoor exercise equipment and more.

Fujikawa Garden
Fujikawa Garden offers a quiet resting spot with an expansive view of surrounding fields and beyond. Situated on Silverdale trail, stroll and learn more about the pioneer family who cleared and cultivated a strawberry farm at this site in 1911.

Historic Downtown Mission
Mission’s Historic Downtown features heritage sites, public art, unique shops, and entertainment venues & establishments. It’s overseen by an association's board compromised of 12 of those merchants and business owners striding to lead a thriving, vibrant, and unique downtown community.

Jack Poole Harbourside Park
This concrete park along the Fraser River is a starting place to explore Mission's beautiful riverbanks. See the Canadian Pacific Railway Bridge, boat launch, and the location that the First Nations chose to settle due to its abundant natural resources.

Fire & Life Safety Fair
Mission Fire Rescue Service hosts October’s annual Fire & Life Safety Fair to aid the community in learning about fire safety. Meet firefighters and see their equipment! There are demonstrations, kids activities, and plenty of information on keeping your home and family safe.

Mission City 1930 Mural
The mural created by Dean and Christina Lauze showcases a blend of historic images representing early downtown Mission. This project was made possible through the fundraising efforts of the Mission District Historical Society, with the donors acknowledged in the mural.

Former Site of Mission Fairground
This former 6-acre site uphill from Mission's historic core is home to the current Mission Leisure Centre. The fairgrounds held significant historic, scientific and social heritage value for the community. It once hosted fairs and celebrations as far back as 1910 for the community's continuous and evolving social trends throughout the decades.

Mission Folk Music Festival
Come find your folk! This 3-day music and arts event is held every July, featuring roots, blues, traditional, and global music from across Canada and around the world. Event includes concerts, workshops, dances, artisan market, beer garden, camping, kids activities, and more!

Mission Post Office
This Canadian Post Office is a 3-story brick and stone building occupying the prominent corner near the entrance to Mission's Historic Downtown and is a landmark building due to its striking architecture and important role in the community.
