Mission, BC—Environment Canada and Climate Change Canada has issued a weather statement advising of very windy conditions in the Fraser Valley starting tonight and into Wednesday morning.

Public Works crews have been out preparing the community for wind by cleaning catch basins, clearing shoulders to allow water to drain off the road and eliminating water pooling, as well as clearing storm inlets to allow water to flow without restriction.

Take Caution

If you don’t have to go anywhere, please stay home. Avoid walking near treed areas.
