Mission's Canada Day celebration at Fraser River Heritage Park on July 1 will feature a full-scale West Coast Lumberjack PNE style show in addition to a variety of usual favourites.
Experience the Thrill of the Logger's Show
The West Coast Lumberjack North American shows have been around since 1982 and are compromised of professional athletes who perform in lumberjack sports competitions, offering a unique blend of athletic competition, historical storytelling, and high-energy entertainment. The shows feature the traditional skills of coastal British Columbian lumberjacks while incorporating the modern skills of professional shows, designed to be exciting and fast-paced. Designed for families, the event will showcase skills such as axe throwing, log rolling, tree climbing, chainsaw chopping, crosscut sawing, and more.
