Alert: Due to a gas leak incident, 1st Avenue from Murray Street to Stave Lake Road is closed to BOTH vehicle AND pedestrian traffic until further notice. Mission Fire Rescue, City Staff and FortisBC are on scene.
NO traffic is permitted in or near the area as crews work to address the issue.
This incident is ongoing and there is no indication of when traffic will resume. Traffic impacts may extend into tomorrow’s commute.
