As Labour Day weekend approaches, the City of Mission extends its best wishes for a safe and enjoyable holiday. Here’s a summary of important reminders and announcements to keep in mind:
Curbside Collection Schedule Change Reminder
If you have questions about recycling, composting, or garbage collection, or need to know your collection day, use the Recycle Coach App for up-to-date information.
Water Restrictions
Stage 1 water restrictions started on May 1. Residential lawn watering is allowed one morning per week. Even addresses water on Saturday and odd addresses water on Sunday. Manual watering is permitted between 6-9 a.m. and automatic watering between 5-7 a.m. Find out more.
Fire Ban Lifted
The fire ban within the City of Mission will be lifted effective at noon on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Before using your recreational fire pit, please check the daily ventilation category at https://dom.burnpermits.com/ or call 1-844-904-0766 to ensure conditions are safe.
Stave West Recreational Area
If you are planning a trip to the beautiful Stave West Recreation Area, please remember to leave no trace. If you pack it in, pack it out.
