Youth
This year our community’s youth (ages 12 – 18) can partake in the perfect potion for playfulness at the free Halloween Carnival being hosted at our Community Youth Centre.
Children
Keep up on traditions and bring children’s imaginations to life through designing and decorating of pumpkins (and more!) for taking home to spread the spirit of Halloween at our Leisure Centre’s Halloween Spooktacular program this pro-d day weekend (ages 3 – 5).
If you children are seeking more of a thrill, you can foster confronting it through unleashing inner wizards at the Centre’s Halloween Potions and Slime (age 5 – 9).
Preschool
For our littlest preschool-ghoul members of the community, celebrate processing emotions in a delightfully eerie and sensory-filled way at the Leisure Centre’s Spooky Sensations Sensory Play (ages 1 – 5), or they can come dressed up and take part in a parade, games and more for the specially featured Halloween themed Early Years Fair that has helped kindergarten transitions throughout the ages within our community.
All Ages
Bring your excitement to our imagination holiday event, supporting the encouragement of creativity through getting to be someone else for the night offered at our Clarke Theatre’s free Costume Creation Extravaganza event this Saturday!
Turn terror into treats and eat, drink and be scary at the annual free Mission Downtown Business’ Halloween Trick o’ Treat in Downtown Mission street event in our Historic Downtown.
Whether it’s being around the people you choose for the company, the playful release of pent-up spookiness, or eating an entire years’ worth of candy in one sitting, join the community in breaking free to enjoy this Halloween with all our community has to offer – Happy Halloween Mission!
