Come join us at the Clarke Theatre for a special screening of the classic film Mlle Bottine (also known as "Miss Boots"), a Canadian comedy film in its original French version without English subtitles.
L'Association Francophone de la Vallée du Fraser, in partnership with La Journée Nationale du Film Canadien and the City of Mission, is inviting the community to come view, in French, the movie Mlle Bottine (general audience) released in 2024. This movie is a remake of the popular movie from the series Contes pour Tous which included the famous "La guerre des Tuques". There will be refreshments offered at the end to allow for participants to connect and chat in French.
The story follows a composer who is entrusted with caring for his orphaned niece, who has a rebellious and eccentric nature. This dynamic, along with the niece's skunk companion, creates comedic situations making a family-friendly favourite in lighthearted entertainment.
