Come burn off some post-Halloween-candy calories!
Are you someone who wants to make a difference for nature and the people who visit Centennial Park?
We’re looking for energetic volunteers who are up to a physical challenge. We need help receiving and placing 500 native potted plants to help prepare for our tree planting event at Centennial Park. This is a vital role to ensure our planting day is successful!
Volunteer Assets:
Work as a team to unload plants from the delivery truck.
Be able to move and carry plants/live cutting bundles weighing 5-20 pounds up to 150 meters away.
Capable of working on uneven, sloped and wet terrain.
Able to follow instructions for proper placement.
Gloves provided.
If you have a wheelbarrow or wagon to help move plants, please feel free to bring it!
