    About

In celebration of the recent restoration of the Mission Museum, we will be hosting a special event on our front porch. Come see the newly restored building, enjoy fun activities for all ages, and take a tour through our gallery. This event will be an enjoyable outing for families too, with fun games and crafts for kids! We invite you to celebrate with us as we continue to share and promote this history and culture of Mission!

    Mission Museum
The Mission Museum is located at 33201 Second Avenue (corner of Second avenue and Welton Street) in the historic downtown core of Mission, British Columbia, Canada. The museum is operated by the Mission District Historical Society, a registered charitable non-profit society dedicated to “Recording our History, Educating the Community, Preserving our Heritage.”

The Mission Museum exists for the purpose of preserving the history of Mission by way of the collection, preservation, documentation, research and integration of artifacts related to our community’s history. We seek to inform and engage our visitors by making our history available to the public through exhibits, events and public programming. Our collection consists of over 10,000 artifacts which have been donated to the Museum by businesses, organizations and individual members of the community.
