The Clarke Foundation Theatre presents, River’s Edge Horror Short Film Festival (a PG-13 event - viewer discretion advised).
Get ready for a spine-tingling night of thrills, chills, and cinematic creativity at the River’s Edge Horror Short Film Festival! Now in its sixth year, this annual event invites aspiring and seasoned filmmakers across the Lower Mainland of BC to showcase their storytelling talents through the lens of horror.
Join us for a full evening of frightful fun as we screen a curated selection of international horror shorts, last year’s winning films, and this year’s bone-chilling submissions. After the final scream fades, we’ll announce and present awards to our 2025 winners live on stage!
Juried Awards:
- Best in Show – Adult: $500
- Honourable Mention – Adult: $250
- Best in Show – Youth (18 and under): $150
- Honourable Mention – Youth: $100
- Audience Choice Award – $50 gift card (voted by you on event night – winner announced the following week!)
Come dressed to impress – whether you’re going full spooky or full red carpet glam, costumes are strongly encouraged!

Tickets will be available at the door from 6:30-7:00 or at the Mission Arts Centre (MAC) from October 1–17, 12–4pm, Tuesday-Friday.
