Building industry members are invited to register for the Township of Langley’s free, Builder Forum Series (BFS) online workshop: Zero Carbon Step Code 101, on April 25th from 9.00 am to 11.00 am.
The Zero Carbon Step Code (ZCSC) is a new, optional, BC Building Code pathway that municipalities can volunteer to adopt to support reducing operational emissions in their communities. There has been a very strong start to the ZCSC across British Columbia, where some municipalities are already requiring compliance with the final tier of the ZCSC, Zero Carbon. The Township of Langley now requires compliance with EL-2 of the ZCSC, and will require compliance with EL-3 starting, April 1st, 2025. Attend this workshop to learn how to successfully meet requirements.
